About

Cedra

Hi! I'm so glad you found me. My name is Cedra.

I am a Craniosacral Therapist, Somatic Practitioner, Visceral Manipulation Practitioner, and Energy Healer. While the basis of my work is always Craniosacral, I incorporate Somato-Emotional Release, Visceral Manipulation, and Energy Healing where appropriate. I am primarily an intuitive healer and apply both biodynamic and biomechanical Craniosacral techniques in my practice, depending on my clients' needs.

I am highly sensitive and an empath. These traits allow me to fulfil my purpose, which is to support people in their healing journey through these beautifully gentle and non-intrusive modalities.

One of the things I love about Craniosacral is that it allows healing on all levels – mind, body, and spirit. Despite how gentle it is, it can have profound, lasting, and life-altering effects. I myself have benefited from it greatly throughout my healing journey, which is what led me to practice myself.

About

Craniosacral

In case you're unsure what the difference between biodynamic and biomechanical Craniosacral Therapy is, I wanted to briefly mention that here. Feel free to call or email me if you'd like to ask more specific questions about my practice though.

Both approaches work with the body's craniosacral rhythm, listening to what the body needs and supporting it in healing itself. The craniosacral system spans the skull and spine, down to the sacrum. Biomechanical approaches focus on the craniosacral system only, whereas biodynamic approaches extend to other parts of the body that are inherently connected to the craniosacral system via the nervous systems, and are therefore affected by it.

The Mechanic

Biomechanical Craniosacral Therapy focuses on gentle correction of structural restrictions or misalignments within the craniosacral system. Gentle, hands-on pressure is used to facilitate healing through subtle mobilization of tissue or bone.

The Listener

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy involves listening to what the body needs and facilitating it to heal itself. This work involves light touch and assistance in self-healing through intention and energy.

In my practice, I will never force or manipulate anything, I will only work within the limitations of the body's willingness to release. In my experience, this allows for longer-lasting results than forced manipulations that the body isn't ready to integrate.
